My Happy Vala B'day

One sweet memory that will always remain close to my heart would be my B'day celebration this year. However, the only sad part would be that my husband was not there to share my happiness. But he made sure that even in his absence I get to cut my most favorite bada vala happy bday chocolate  cake.

My parents gave me the best gift by giving a surprise visit to me especially for this day as I was alone with husband gone on duty.

And I got to cut three chocolate cakes one after the other. One sent by my In-laws (including my two shaitaan Bro-in law); One by my dear friend and the most special one was from my dear husband. And irrespective of my growing waist line, I did not, for once, thought of cutting down upon eating them all. Infact, I had the most of it, with no immediate regrets. I mean, koi chocolate cake ko kaise resist kar sakta hai? So khhob daba k khaya.

The celebrations did no end on the same day itself, but roughly after one month of my Bday, I got to cut another 'bada sa' Chocolate cake brought by my 'extended family/friends of naval fraternity'. This totally surprised me as it was the most unexpected thing to take place. I mean, my dear friends of the wardroom(families of each officer working on the same unit) could not make it on my Bday so when we decided to meet at my place for a routine get together, they entered with happy bday cake and happy bday song and i was dancing all over with this surprise.

Little little things/events make you feel important, happy and wanted. It was truly a Haapy Vala Bday.
